Accessibility
The Nordic House is part of the Sunflower Program, which enables people with non-visible disabilities to access the support they need. This means our staff are trained to assist guests wearing a sunflower lanyard.
The sunflower lanyard can be worn by anyone with an invisible disability, such as ADHD, Tourette's, autism, brain injury, anxiety, or dementia. When you wear the sunflower lanyard, it indicates that you might need a little extra time, patience, or assistance.
You can pick up a lanyard for free and without question at our reception.

All areas of the Nordic House are accessible by wheelchair. There are accessible bathrooms both in the Front Hall by the entrance and on the lower level near the Skálin Hall.
In front of the main entrance, there are two designated accessible parking spaces.
With a companion ID, you can bring a special needs companion with you to events for free — just remember to show the ID at the entrance.
For accessible and/or companion seating, call us at +298 351351. We will make sure to reserve accessible and/or companion seating for you.
